BABY NEWS!

It's been a while since the last post, so I thought it was about time that I post. Our 12 week ultrasound was the week of Christmas, so everything was very busy then. The ultrasound came out perfect and the baby had grown so much. The sonographer actually gave us a guess on the baby's sex...70% chance it is a BOY! We went for our 18 week sonogram and Thursday and found out that 100% it is a BOY! We are so excited. We have decided to name him Kristopher Verner Morelius. Below are some of the pictures of our precious baby boy. He is absolutely perfect. 

The First Ultrasound, Love At First Sight

We had our first ultrasound on Monday and everything was perfect. We were able to see that they baby was in my uterus, which took away any worries of an ectopic pregnancy. At first the baby looked small because it was curled up next to the edge but after some patience it moved it. The radiology tech and radiologist measured "Little Peanut" at .70mm so about 1/3 in. It is right on schedule! The heartbeat was nice and strong at 143 bpm. It was the most amazing thing to see. The little heartbeat just flickers on the screen as confirmation that this incredible little miracle is in fact living inside of you. It was the best day Michael and I have ever had. Our next ultrasound will be at 12 weeks. I can't wait to see how much it grows!

This tiny heartbeat makes me smile

Well, according to all of the baby books that Michael and I have recently bought, the baby's heart is beating. I can't wait for the first ultrasound so we can listen to it. The baby is now about 1/4 inch long! That seems so tiny but it has actually grown so much in the last week. I started a little pregnancy scrapbook for the baby today. Hopefully it will help the time pass a little faster. I can't wait to hold my little bundle of joy!

Monday we had our first appointment with the doctor. Everything is perfect! Today I am 5 weeks and 2 days preggo! The due date is July 6, 2009! In two weeks we get to go for our first ultrasound, as the nurse said, "just to say hi to the baby." We are so excited about seeing our little peanut for the first time. Welcome to our blog! Michael and I found out Tuesday that we are expecting out first little bundle of joy. I am currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant! I am already falling hard for this little miracle. My first appointment in on Monday so I will keep everyone up-to-date!
